Joost Vette graduated as a product designer from the TU Delft. He believes that the bottleneck of a transition to a circular economy will never be our creativity, but the pallet of materials we have to bring it into practice. From this perspective he is one of the founders of Fairm, aiming to develop natural materials that enable us to build a circular society. Parallel to his work at Fairm he is a parttime researcher into biobased building materials at the Centre of Expertise Biobased Economy at the Avans and HZ universities of Applied Sciences, to contribute to fundamental research in the field of biobased building.
Bruno holds a MSc in biotechnology from University of Coimbra in Portugal. He is passionate about the endless ways fungi can be helpful in today’s society and joins that with his need for practicality.
